Honda Brio Bisa Jadi Mobil Murah

Jakarta - Produsen mobil Honda bersiap untuk memproduksi Honda Brio di Indonesia. Bila memenuhi syarat, bisa jadi Honda Brio akan didaulat untuk ikut dalam program mobil murah yang sedang dipersiapkan pemerintah.

Dirjen Industri Unggul Berbasis Teknologi Tinggi Kementerian Perindustrian, Budi Darmadi menjelaskan ada beberapa syarat sebuah mobil bila ingin ikut program Low Cost and Green Car (LCGC) yang saat ini sedang dipersiapkan.

"Kita lihat saja nanti, sekarang Honda mengatakan kalau Brio nanti local content-nya sampai 80 persen, di sisi itu Brio bisa masuk dalam program ini, tapi dilihat lagi, bisa tidak konsumsi mobil ini sampai 22 km/liter," paparnya di Kantor Kementerian Perindustrian, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, Kamis (15/3/2012).

Selain kandungan komponen lokal yang tinggi, langkah Brio untuk masuk dalam program mobil murah bisa dipermudah karena mesin yang digendongnya adalah mesin 3 silinder hasil turunan dari mesin empat silinder berkapasitas 1.2 liter yang saat ini digendong Jazz.

Honda pun melalui Operatinng Officer Honda Motor Co., Ltd, Executive in Charge of Business Unit No. 3, Automobile Operations Honda Motor Co., Ltd Yoshiyuki Matsumoto mengatakan tertarik terhadap program Low Cost and Green Car yang digodok pemerintah itu.

"Kita tertarik. Kita lihat dulu peraturannya seperti apa, kalau kita sendiri tentu ingin ikutan agar dapat insentif," tambah Direktur Pemasaran dan Layanan Purna Jual PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) Jonfis Fandy.

Namun yang jadi masalah adalah harga jual produk ini. Di Thailand saja mobil kecil ini dibanderol 400.000 baht atau sekitar Rp 120 juta. Padahal pada program mobil murah yang sedang digodok pemerintah itu harga dasar sebuah mobil tidaklah boleh lebih dari US$ 10.000 atau sekitar Rp 90 jutaan.

Terlebih, konsumsi bensin Honda Brio tercatat mampu menjangkau jarak 100 km dengan konsumsi BBM 5 liter atau 20 km/liter, kurang sedikit dari permintaan pemerintah di angka 22 km/liter.

Pada program yang aturannya akan rampung pada September-Oktober itu, pemerintah akan memberi berbagai insentif bagi tiap pabrikan yang mampu memproduksi mobil-mobil ramah lingkungan berharga murah.
